Municipal Sewer & Water Grant Program – Round Two
Overview
The Municipal Sewer and Water Grant Program aims to provide funding to Ulster County municipalities to support local sewer and water infrastructure needs. This funding comes from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, which was established by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in 2021.
Applications are no longer being accepted.
Available Funding
The total amount of funding available for Round Two of the Municipal Sewer & Water Grant Program is $396,447. Applications may be made for a maximum of $396,447, which cannot exceed 33% of the total project cost. A maximum of one application will be accepted from each municipality.
Eligibility
In order to submit the Full Application for funding, a municipality must:

- Be a municipality within Ulster County

- Not have been previously awarded funds from the first round of the Municipal Sewer and Water Grant Program.

- Not have started construction – Sewer & Water Projects that have started construction are not eligible for award of SLFRF funds
